| Due to insufficent numbers the remaining high school pulse dances have been cancelled for 2008. A review of the sound and lighting system, dance amusements and DJ's will be made. The high school pulse dances will return in 2009. |
Due to an increase in anti social behaviour the club will no longer admit patrons without them first providing a current high school photo ID. Anti social behaviour in any format will not be allowed and if this behaviour continues patrons will be refused entry to the pulses on a long term basis. Volunteer police and supervisors will be cracking down on pushing, bullying, antagonising and threathening behaviours from patrons. |
The Carindale PCYC holds dance parties at the club which are known as 'pulses'. The pulses are well supervised by Police, Staff and Volunteers. Once entrance has been gained the children are not allowed to leave the premises unless collected by one of their parents. The High School Pulse - held the second friday of every month for High School students. The cost is $10.00 per ticket if the tickets are purchased on the day of the dance. If purchased before the dance a discount of $2.00 applies, therefore costing $8.00. NO admission if curent high school ID is not presented. PLEASE NOTE - Starts at 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
We also hold a Primary School Pulse - held the third Saturday of every month for only Primary School Students. The cost is $10.00 per ticket if the tickets are purchased on the day of the dance. If purchased before the dance a discount of $2.00 applies, therefore costing $8.00. PLEASE NOTE - Starts at 7.00pm to 9.30pm.
The Under 5's have a Micro Dance which is held every three months and costs the under 5's $5.00 per person. Adults and carers can enjoy themselves and dance around for free. PLEASE NOTE - Starts at 4.30pm to 6.00pm. The Special Needs Dance is held on the third friday of the month. The cost is $5.00 per person, adults and carers are free. PLEASE NOTE - Starts at 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
All the dances have access to the pool tables, latest DVD music video clips, basketball courts as well as offering a variety of amusements such as a jumping castle and temporary tattoos.

Rules for Pulse Dances:- - The PCYC is a Drug, Alcohol & Smoke Free Environment
- No objectionable behaviours will be allowed
- No chewing or bubble gum is allowed
- Pulse Dance Parties are restricted to children aged 17yrs and under who are currently attending high school and can produce a current high school photo ID. This needs to be produced to gain entry
- It is a condition of entry to the Pulse activities that you submit yourself to having a hand held metal detector passed over you.
- Management reserves the right to refuse persons entry.
DRESS CODE
- Clean respectable dress that is not offensive.
- Dress shorts, good t-shirts and shoes. No torn clothing with holes, no thongs or barefeet.
